On behalf of our company I would like to say thanks for the wonderful time we all had at Oaklands on the Saturday night. The staff went that extra mile with their friendly & helpful suggestions to make it a wonderful night! They also accommodated the children with a nursery tour and activities to make sure they were occupied throughout the evening.

The night ran so smoothly and all the guests commented on how great the food and service was. They've delivered a gorgeous venue and am so glad with our decision to have our function at Oaklands.  

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Merimbula I would like to thank you and all the staff for an excellent evening for the Changeover dinner for our Club. I understand that a last minute family problem for the Chef, led to last minute changes for the cooking arrangements, but this did not detract from the excellent meal that was provided to us, everybody was very happy with the meal which was served on time and in a friendly manner. For the venue itself it could not be bettered, a nice cosy and warm situation with a flavour all of its own. The owners of the Oaklands Event Centre should be proud of its Centre and all its staff. Oaklands fills a very important gap in the event market. It's classy, versatile, big enough to host a serious function without the 'ugly club' atmosphere.

With Oakland's generosity and commitment we managed to reach our fund-raising target on the night.

                        I was blown away with your service and kindness when you hosted the wedding of Kat & Nigel on Friday the 28th of Feb. The food and service was just fantastic, not one guest complained. You made everything that the kids wanted work and the day was just beautiful. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone in the future. Please keep up the excellent work.

Thank you for your fantastic organisation and the great venue for our WIEL dinner last night. It is so wonderful to have a venue and staff of this calibre in this area.

We live interstate and planned a light luncheon for after our daughter's christening. Andrew made everything so simple for me. Planning the menu down to the last detail was easy and any changes I wanted were no problem - it was a joy. We met the week prior and the room was beautiful and I knew that it would be a perfect day. Andrew recommended a photographer to us at the last minute, he just thinks of everything.

The day was wonderful, food, drinks, waitstaff and decorated room faultless... our daughter had a great day and that was the whole idea. We can't recommend this function centre enough, everything is taken care of for you. Go out and meet Andrew and you will be as impressed as we were.
